What is a Merch Box?

A Merch Box is exactly what it sounds like, a box of merchandise! This merch box is a collaborative fanmade project of original art pieces inspired by Matsumoto Naoya's Kaiju No. 8. 

What is the theme for this project?

Tanoshimu: a Hoshina Merch Box Collection is a fanmade merchandise collection inspired by and featuring Hoshina Soushiro from Matsumoto Naoya's Kaiju No. 8. The only theme of this merch box is all things Hoshina Soushirou!

Will this project be for profit or for charity?

This project will be for-profit. The proceeds will be split among our team of contributors.

What are stretch goals?

Stretch goals are set number of orders which will unlock extra merch items when reached. Our physical order goals are as noted below:

• 25 Physical Orders: Heat-Sensitive Art Print
• 75 Physical Orders: Wooden Coaster
• 100 Physical Orders: Hoshinyan Mochikororoin

Additional stretch goals may be announced! Please keep in mind, specific bundles may include some but not all stretch goals.

How was pricing determined for your store?

Store prices take into account the cost of production for items as well as a markup to generate a small amount of profit per bundle, which we will be used to compensate our contributors for their incredible work. Our goal is to provide our contributors with a physical copy of their work for free (i.e., a free deluxe bundle and complimentary shipping).

As our project includes an exclusive array of merchandise, including plushie items and an ita bag, the prices set in our store are inclusive of these costs and are priced as competitively as possible according to market value.
